About Us:
Commonwealth Canine Search and Recovery mission is to provide trained dogs and handlers to assist local and state agencies in locating lost, missing or overdue persons as defined by Kentucky Revised Statute Chapter 39.
The members of CCSR have assisted in locating hundreds of lost or missing persons since 1988. A Kentucky Divison of Emergency Management.
In the event of a missing person, “Trained Search Dog Teams” have proven themselves to be an extremely valuable resource. All CCSR team members respond fully equipped trained and tested. There is no question as to the abilities of the resource.
CCSR members are fully trained in the latest nationally recognized search tactics and techniques.
Commonwealth Canine Search and Recovery was formed in 2006 to provide trained dogs and handlers to assist local and state agencies in locating lost or missing or overdue persons.
Handlers with CCSR have responded to several hundred searches with a success rate that far exceeds the national average of other dog teams.
CCSR does not charge for any services
CCSR is an all volunteer, non profit organization.
